The Carbonear General Hospital offers a variety of services related to children’s health. Our regional team of nurses and physicians provide care through outpatient clinic appointments, surgical admissions or general care for your child.
What we do
We offer pediatric clinic, pediatric in-patient and emergency services to children and youth up to their 18th birthday.

Pediatric clinic: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Inpatient and emergency services: 24 hours a day, seven days a week

The Carbonear General Hospital has bedside technology used to assist in educating patients. When not in use for education, patients may access this technology to use as a telephone or FaceTime, and to access the Internet (fees may apply.)
