Child development
The child development program offers comprehensive services for children with development and learning challenges.
What we do
We provide services for the following developmental challenges such as:
- Global developmental disability
- Intellectual disability
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Behaviour challenges
- Communication disorders
- Neurodevelopmental disorders
Child development staff support children and their families through regular assessments, interventions, and community and school support.
Who we see
We provide care for children and youth with developmental challenges up to their 18th birthday.

How to access this service
Referrals are accepted from primary care providers, pediatricians, community health nurses, child management specialists, behaviour management specialists and educational professionals.
Please contact your physician or health-care provider to make a referral and to complete the Child Development Referral Form (PDF).
