Gender wellness clinic
The gender wellness clinic supports transgender and gender non-binary children, youth and their families throughout their childhood.
What we do
- Provide support and a safe place to discuss needs.
- Provide information on options and personalized care.
- Provide treatment with puberty blockers and /or gender-affirming hormones.
- Help navigate referrals to other health-care professionals as needed.
Who we see
We provide care for children and youth up to their 18th birthday who have been referred to our service.
Our team
Pediatric endocrinologists (physicians who specialize in the body’s hormones and hormonal glands) working collaboratively with other health-care professionals.
How to access this service
A referral is required from a health-care provider, such as your family doctor, pediatrician, or nurse practitioner. Referrals are reviewed and placed in priority to be seen. See referrals.
