Endocrinology

The pediatric Endocrinology program offers specialty services to children and youth with concerns effecting their endocrine (hormone) system.

What we do

Hormones are chemicals controlled by your endocrine glands. Hormones help coordinate and control how your body functions, such as your growth, development, mood, reproduction, and metabolism.

We diagnose and manage medical concerns involving the endocrine (hormone) system, including:

  • Disorders of growth and puberty
  • Thyroid disease
  • Pituitary and hypothalamic disorders
  • Calcium disorders and other bone health issues
  • Adrenal gland dysfunction
  • Lipid disorders

We also offer clinics specializing in:

  • Chronic disease prevention (Janeway Lifestyle Program).
  • Endocrine care of transgender youth and gender non-binary children and youth
  • Reproductive health care for children with disabilities.

Who we see

We provide care for children and youth up to their 18th birthday.

Our team

Our team is comprised of the following health-care professionals:
